1. Common die-cutting materials

PE material: short for low-density polyethylene, a common plastic material with good flexibility and corrosion resistance, suitable for making protective pads, plastic packaging, plastic products, etc.

2. Commonly used die-cutting materials in the electronic 3C industry

In the production of 3C electronic products, die-cutting technology is often used to manufacture various parts, labels, protective films, insulating materials, etc. Commonly used die-cutting materials include:

Release materials: generally used for isolation, filling, protection, tape release, product covers, etc., with the advantage of easy peeling. Release materials can be selected according to different places and requirements, with different release forces, colors, and characteristics. Commonly used release substrates include glassine paper, CCK kaolin-coated paper, PE film, PET film, OPP film, etc.

Adhesive series materials: such as double-sided tape, single-sided tape, etc. The adhesive of double-sided tape can stick to things because the molecules of the double-sided tape form a bond with the objects to be connected. This bond can firmly bond the molecules together. Double-sided tape can be divided into double-sided tape without substrate, double-sided tape with substrate, and single-sided tape according to its structure. Single-sided adhesive tape is made of PET, PE, BOPP, PI, and other materials as the substrate, and one side is coated with glue.

Conductive shielding materials are divided into three categories: conductive adhesive, conductive foam, and conductive cloth shielding. Conductive adhesive is an adhesive with certain conductive properties after curing or drying; conductive foam is made of textile fiber cloth with metal plating wrapped with elastic PU foam, which has good elasticity and conductivity; conductive cloth shielding is based on highly metalized nylon and polyester materials, which has excellent conductive properties equivalent to metal, and has good toughness and winding performance.

Surface protection series materials: such as protective film, can be divided into digital product protective film, car protective film, household protective film, food preservation protective film, etc. according to the use. The protective film is made of various materials, including PP, PVC, PET, OPP, PE, AR, OCA, etc. Among them, PET material is the most common protective film on the market, with a relatively hard texture, scratch-resistant, and will not turn yellow and oily after long-term use. AR material is the best-known screen protector on the market. It is divided into three layers: silicone as the adsorption layer, PET as the middle layer, and the outer layer as a special treatment layer. OCA material protective film is produced in Japan and is widely used in Apple mobile phones. It is better than other materials in terms of lightness and hardness.

Sealing/buffering series materials: such as foam, which can be divided into polyethylene foam, polyester foam, and rubber foam according to the material. Foam is soft, has high water absorption and high compression rate, and has good buffering and sealing properties.
